Perhaps more info than you were looking for, but yeah, I say go for it. Buy Insta 360 one X in Singapore,Singapore. It's also possible that the issues I've experienced are my own fault, as I have yet to rtfm. This tech is still new enough that it's likely that even the next generation will have a few small quirks, and the quirks this cam does have aren't really dealbreakers imo. With that said however, I would still recommend the cam.

I personally think there's a few other things Insta360 could focus on to make an X2 still a worthy upgrade. Doing either or both of these would likely lead to higher cost though. 4K, not 5.7K (same res as the two year old Insta360 One) and arguably has as good or better quality than the X).īigger sensors, and/or better software on the camera itself to process and encode from a quality stand point would be enough. Look at the Ricoh Theta Z1 as an example. You don't necessarily need a higher resolution for better quality.
